ESPN: These Teams Have Already Been Eliminated From The College Football Playoff

We're only four weeks into the 2018 college football regular season, but the College Football Playoff race is already heating up.

ESPN published today a piece on the teams that have already been eliminated from this year's College Football Playoff race.

It's a lengthy list.

The following major programs are already out of contention:

  • Arizona State
  • Florida State
  • Boise State
  • Hawaii
  • Houston
  • Nebraska
  • Ole Miss
  • Rutgers
  • Tennessee
  • TCU
  • UCLA
  • USC

There are a little more than 30 teams still in the race, according to ESPN.
