ESPN College GameDay Host Just Trashed This Major Program

ESPN's College GameDay kicked off from Eugene this morning ahead of the matchup between No. 7 Stanford and No. 20 Oregon. Early in the program, Willie Taggart's name popped up frequently.

The former Oregon coach left the Ducks after just one season for Florida State. The first three games of the season haven't been kind to the Seminoles, who sit at 1-2 on the season.

Florida State's only win on the season came against a lower-tier opponent in Samford - a game in which the Seminoles trailed late. A blowout loss to Virginia Tech and poor showing against Syracuse has Seminoles fans calling for a new head coach.

The fans aren't the only ones paying attention to Florida State's downfall. College GameDay host Rece Davis torched the Seminoles on national TV.

"I’d say the Seminoles have looked like a dumpster fire, but that wouldn’t really be fair. Dumpster fires still have evidence of a flame. There’s not even a flicker in Tallahassee," Davis said on ESPN.

The GameDay crew doesn't usually trash major programs on live TV, but Florida State seems like a special case this year.

Can the Seminoles turn it around?
