ESPN Computer Releases New College Football Preseason Top 25

ESPN's Football Power Index has updated ahead of the upcoming 2019 college football regular season.

The Football Power Index, a "measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team's performance going forward for the rest of the season," uses "10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule" to make projections.

These projections include rankings.

ESPN's Football Power Index has updated its top 25 ahead of the season:

  21. Florida State
  22. Utah
