ESPN Expert Predicts Record For Clemson In 2017

Here’s ESPN’s prediction for how many games the Tigers will win next year.

In case you missed it, Clemson won the national title last year. The Tigers took down a dominant Alabama team to get revenge for their last meeting. However, Clemson enters the 2017 season with questions at the quarterback spot now that Deshaun Watson has moved on to the NFL.

David Hale of ESPN offered up her take on how many games the Tigers will win next year.

From ESPN:

Projected W-L: Clemson is 28-2 in the past two seasons, and it has won 10 games in each of the last six. It’s tough to keep up that pace, but Swinney has the horses to get it done. The question, of course, is whether Florida State has taken a big enough step forward to pass the renovated Tigers to take command of the division. Either way, we’re still pegging Clemson for double-digit wins.

It's not a bad prediction, considering Clemson returns a stacked lineup on the defensive side of the ball. All questions surround the quarterback position.
