ESPN Expert Thinks Ohio State Has The Best Defense In The Big Ten

The Big Ten fielded three of the best defenses in the country last year, but which one is the best?

The Big Ten had three of the top four teams in points allowed per game. Michigan, Ohio State, and Wisconsin all allowed fewer than 16 points per game.

But which defense will be the best in 2017?

According to ESPN college football analyst Brian Bennett, the answer is Ohio State.

From ESPN:

Best team defense: Ohio State, because of its experienced defensive line. But Michigan and Wisconsin should both be really good defensively, too.

Ohio State lost a few defensive stalwarts in Malik Hooker and Marshon Lattimore, but replenished the well with a huge 2017 recruiting class. Wisconsin lost its best pass rusher in T. J. Watt as well, but always finds a way to field a stout defense.
