With the 2018 college football season approaching in a couple of weeks, ESPN has updated its head coach "hot seat" rankings.

A big-name head coach has been added to the list ahead of the season.

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron, who's entering his second full season as the Tigers' head coach, might be at risk of being fired this fall, per ESPN.

Coach O is 15-6 as LSU's head coach and expectations are high for the Tigers this fall.

If LSU falls short of expectations, the administration could be in position to make a change.

ESPN has placed Coach O on its initial hot seat rankings. The full list can be seen here.

Paul Finebaum agrees with his placement.

“I wouldn’t necessarily say that he’s going to lose his job, short of a cataclysmic season,” Finebaum told SEC Country. “But I think the way that the [2017] season ended was pretty negative. I believe the bowl game hurt.”

LSU opens its season on Sept. 2 against Miami.
