ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has updated his personal rankings following Week 11 of the 2019 regular season.
There’s been a shakeup in the rankings this week, as LSU topped Alabama and Minnesota stunned Penn State.
The official new College Football Playoff rankings will come out on Tuesday night.
Herbstreit updated his top six on Sunday morning:
- Ohio State
Try to rank teams 4-8.
Very tough to do this week. Committee has their hands full. Wow-Gonna be fun last 4 weeks down the stretch. @CollegeGameDay

At this point, there’s a very clear top three – LSU, Ohio State and Clemson – and then a host of teams competing for that fourth spot.
It’s possible one of those top three teams will lose down the stretch, prompting even more chaos, but it looks like most of the drama will come down to the No. 4 team.
