College football fans love to debate which programs have the best uniforms. ESPN's recent list regarding the subject is getting a lot of heat.

ESPN, as part of its CFB 150, tweeted out a list of the 11 best "college football uniforms" on Friday night. But it doesn't make a ton of sense.

For whatever reason, it reads more like a list of college football's best fashion traditions. You'll see why.

No. 1 on the list is Notre Dame's gold helmet - not its entire uniform. No. 2 is Bear Bryant's houndstooth hat. Michigan's winged helmet is No. 3.

Then, randomly, it has USC's full uniform at No. 4. LSU's home white jersey and Ohio State's Buckeye helmet stickers are the other odd inclusions.

Here's the entire list. The teams with full uniforms that made the cut are USC, Penn State, Oklahoma, Alabama, Oregon and Texas. Alabama essentially gets two spots.

Fans, predictably, are a bit miffed.

Nebraska fans are also upset they didn't make the list in any fashion.
