ESPN’s Football Power Index updated this week ahead of the 2019 college football season. It includes strength of schedule rankings.
South Carolina, which faces a daunting SEC schedule and an out-of-conference slate that includes Clemson, the No. 1 team in the country, has the hardest schedule in the country.
Who has the easiest one, though?
According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, the easiest schedule among Power Five teams belongs to Virginia Tech.
Virginia Tech’s non-conference slate includes: Old Dominion, Furman and Rhode Island. Woof.
The Hokies then play: Boston College, Duke, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh and Virginia in the conference.
Virginia Tech avoids both Clemson and Florida State in the conference.
