ESPN named Jaylon Redd the "instant impact' recruit for the Ducks.
National Signing Day is behind us, and many recruits are ready to make their move to the college game. However, not every recruit will receive playing time during the 2017 season.
With that said, a few recruits can make an immediate impact for their respective team. ESPN took a look at which recruit will have an impact for Oregon.
Player: WR Jaylon Redd
Why he will make an instant impact: Though he’s listed in ESPN’s recruiting rankings as the No. 14 athlete and played almost every position in high school, the Oregon Ducks listed him as a wide receiver on signing day -- take note of that. The coaching staff wanted to boost its wide receiver corps. With the 2017 recruiting class, the Ducks did just that by signing four wide receivers, including Redd.
If Redd transitions well to the college game, Willie Taggart could have a star on his hands.
