ESPN Releases New Top 25 Following Week 0 Games

Florida beats Miami in Week 0 of the college football season.

ESPN has updated its Football Power Index rankings following college football's "Week 0" games that took place on Saturday.

Florida topped Miami in the first game of the college football season. It wasn't pretty, but the Gators beat the Hurricanes, 24-20, to open the year.

Hawaii beat Arizona in the second game of the season. The Rainbow Warriors outscored the Wildcats, 45-38, in a thriller of a game.

ESPN's Football Power Index has since updated. The Gators fell back while the Hurricanes actually rose up into the top 25.

Florida had started the year ranked No. 8, while Miami was No. 27 coming into the season.
