ESPN: These 2 Big Ten Teams Are Falling Heading Into The Summer

The Worldwide Leader isn't high on these two Big Ten teams.

ESPN says a couple of Big Ten West Division teams are trending downward right now.

Heading into the summer, with the start of the 2017 season roughly four months away, ESPN thinks that Illinois and Iowa are both "sells" in the buy/hold/sell game.

Illinois isn't expected to do much in Year 2 of the Lovie Smith era and Iowa is probably going to fall off in the running game.

From ESPN:

The Hawkeyes should be strong in the run game and in stopping the run. That alone won’t cut it anymore in the Big Ten. C.J. Beathard’s departure left a question at quarterback that went unanswered this spring. Wide receivers and tight ends weren’t a picture of consistency, either, according to those who saw the Hawkeyes practice. Coach Kirk Ferentz expected newcomers arriving this summer to get a shot to compete for spots at both receiver and defensive back.

What do you expect of these two teams this fall?
