ESPN: These 3 Big Ten Teams Are Trending Downward

ESPN isn't high on these Big Ten teams heading into the season.

We're about four months away from the start of the 2017 college football season.

Heading into the summer, which Big Ten teams are trending downward.

According to ESPN, there are three Big Ten programs going the wrong way heading into the summer.

Those three programs: Indiana, Michigan State and Rutgers.

The Spartans probably have the highest expectations out of that trio.

Here's what ESPN has to say about Mark Dantonio's team right now:

There has been a steady stream of bad news coming from East Lansing this offseason. Legal issues have put football in the back seat from an outside perspective. The team still is working to repair locker room rifts that contributed to last season’s 3-9 record. On top of that, the loss or suspension of a few potential starters on both the offensive and defensive lines will further weaken groups that were a staple of the Spartans’ success in happier days.

Which of those three teams will have the best season?
