ESPN: These 6 Teams Have No Chance To Win Their Conference
We're now less than 3 months away from the start of the 2018 college football season. The first full Saturday is set for September 1.
Predictions for the upcoming season are really starting to roll in. ESPN's Football Power Index has projections for basically everything you could ask for.
One of those projections: The odds every team has to win its respective conference.
According to ESPN's Football Power Index, here are six teams with sizable expectations entering 2018 that have basically no chance to win their conference.
6 teams with little to no chance of winning their conference
1. Virginia Tech
Chance to win the ACC: 4.8 percent
2. Florida State
Chance to win the ACC: 4.4 percent
3. Oregon
Chance to win the Pac-12: 3.7 percent
4. TCU
Chance to win the Big 12: 3.7 percent
5. Florida
Chance to win the SEC: 3.2 percent
6. West Virginia
Chance to win the Big 12: 2.3 percent
