ESPN Thinks Nebraska Is Poised To Upset This Big Ten Team

Will the Huskers score the upset against Penn State?

Last season Penn State put the Big Ten on notice. The Nittany Lions shocked the conference by upsetting Ohio State and winning the Big Ten. Entering the 2017 season, however, Penn State is a favorite to compete for the title once again.

Now in the role of favorite, ESPN has put Penn State on upset alert. The team that has a chance to take down the Nittany Lions in an upset? Nebraska.

Here's what ESPN had to say about the matchup.

Nebraska at Penn State, Nov. 18: Chances are Penn State will take this game, but these two haven't played each other since 2013 when both teams were led by different coaches. There is unfamiliarity between the programs and this is the second to last game of the season for both sides. Nebraska and Penn State are hoping to be in position to make a run at the Big Ten championship game, so this could be a wild game late in the season. The Huskers have been involved with a few close, exciting games under coach Mike Riley and it seems as though this game has that potential.

If all goes according to plan, Nebraska and Penn State will have solid records entering this matchup, and it will determine who will make a run at the Big Ten title game.
