The college football offseason keeps rolling along. Spring ball is over, and outlets are updated their preseason top 25 rankings.
Several places have released a new post-spring top 25 this week. ESPN is the latest to do so this morning.
The Worldwide Leader put its out this morning. Alabama supplanted Clemson as the No. 1 team, with the Tigers falling to No. 2.
The rest of the top 10 looks pretty standard. The Big Ten has five of the first 13 teams in the rankings.
Also, LSU and Florida State got the boot from ESPN's previous way-too-early top 25 and were replaced by Oregon and South Carolina.
Here’s the full top 25:
- Ohio State
- Miami (Fla.)
- Michigan State
- Notre Dame
- Penn State
- Virginia Tech
- Mississippi State
- Boise State
- Texas A&M
- South Carolina
The 2018 college football season begins in four months. We can't wait.
