ESPN's Initial Prediction For Ohio State-Oklahoma

Here's ESPN's initial prediction for Ohio State-Oklahoma.

ESPN's College GameDay will be in Atlanta this weekend for the Week 1 showdown between No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Florida State.

The pregame show has yet to announce where it'll be Week 2, but Columbus, Ohio is a likely destination.

Ohio State, the preseason No. 2, and Oklahoma, the preseason No. 7, are set to meet at Ohio Stadium that Saturday night.

ESPN's Mark Schlabach has released an initial prediction for the game. He likes the Buckeyes.

Schlabach made the prediction as part of his season prediction for the Sooners.

The Sooners will drop an early Sept. 9 road game at Ohio State, but then they'll win six in a row (including the Red River Rivalry game over Texas) to carry a 7-1 record into the Nov. 4 Bedlam Game at Oklahoma State. The Cowboys will likewise be 7-1 entering Bedlam -- they'll drop one of their two consecutive road games at Texas and West Virginia before playing the Sooners.
