ESPN's Lee Corso Just Made A Bold Prediction For The Big Ten

The Big Ten entered the 2018 college football season ranked by some analysts as the top conference in the country.

So far this season, though, the league has been really disappointing.

Three of the five teams that started the year ranked inside the preseason top 15 have already lost. Wisconsin was upset by BYU, Michigan State fell on the road to Arizona State and Michigan lost to Notre Dame.

Ohio State and Penn State are the only Big Ten teams that remain inside the top 10. The Buckeyes and the Nittany Lions are set to meet in State College, Pa. next weekend.

ESPN college football analyst Lee Corso has made a bold prediction for that game.

The College GameDay analyst believes the winner of the Ohio State-Penn State showdown is the only Big Ten team with a chance of making the College Football Playoff.

Corso doesn't see any of the Big Ten's other teams being capable of making a run at the College Football Playoff.

This goes against what Kirk Herbstreit said this morning. Herbie believes that Wisconsin still has what it takes to go on a run and contend for the College Football Playoff.

Ohio State and Penn State are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. E.T. on ABC next Saturday.
