ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum has updated his personal rankings following Week 4 of the 2019 college football season.

Week 4 featured a couple of massive results, as Wisconsin blew out Michigan, Auburn won at Texas A&M and Georgia got past Notre Dame.

Finebaum appeared on SportsCenter on Sunday morning and updated his top four rankings.

The ESPN analyst now has:

  1. Clemson
  2. Alabama
  3. Georgia
  4. LSU

That's an SEC-heavy top four, though that's not surprising coming from Finebaum. It's also defensible, as Georgia and LSU have two of the best wins in the country in Notre Dame and Texas, respectively. Clemson and Alabama have looked dominant, too.

“I thought about moving them up, but I thought they were going to kill Notre Dame," Finebaum said of Georgia. "I’m going to refrain from my optimism. At No. 3, they are a fantastic team, and that was a big-time match.”

Ohio State, likely just outside Finebaum's top four, will get a chance to impress next Saturday, as the Buckeyes are traveling to Nebraska.
