There’s a new prospect atop Todd McShay’s draft board.
ESPN’s Todd McShay will edit his top 32 draft prospects countless times between now and the end of April.
He has a new No. 1 player as of this morning.
UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen has replaced USC’s Sam Darnold as the highest-ranked player on McShay’s list:
Yes, we finally have a change at No. 1. This is still a close race between Sam Darnold and Rosen, but I watched the USC-UCLA game from the sideline and there is a gap between the two QBs right now. As I noted in our draft primer, Rosen is far superior going through his progressions and has a pretty deep ball. He’s a better QB right now, but that doesn’t mean he will be down the line.
McShay’s full top 32 can be found here, albeit behind a paywall.
As of now, Rosen projects to be the top quarterback off the board, but there is a long way to go until the draft.
