ESPN's Todd McShay Thinks 4 Teams Stand Out In College Football

Todd McShay talks on College Football live.

The 2018 college football regular season is finally here. Week 1 has arrived, with several games on tap for tonight, and a bunch more throughout the weekend.

Predictions for the 2018 season are rolling in at a high pace. Get your College Football Playoff picks in now.

There doesn't appear to be a ton of variance in the picks this year. It seems to be the same group of teams getting all of the title projections.

This is probably because the same group of teams is dominating the recruiting circuits year after year.

ESPN NFL and college football analyst Todd McShay appeared on Ryen Russillo's new podcast, "Dual Threat," this week and said that four teams stand out.

Those four teams:

  • Alabama
  • Clemson
  • Georgia
  • Ohio State

They are the four teams with elite head coaches recruiting at a high level, able to reload with top-level talent every season. It's no surprise that those four teams are receiving a bunch of College Football Playoff picks this year.
