ESPN college football analyst Trevor Matich vehemently disagrees with LSU's handling of Josh Boutte.
Trevor Matich appeared on ESPN's Mike & Mike today and called Josh Boutte's cheap shot on the Wisconsin defensive back the "most cowardly" thing he's ever seen in the sport.
LSU announced earlier today that Boutte will be suspended for the Tigers' next game, a punishment that rings pretty hollow considering it's a contest against an FCS team.
Tigers' head coach Les Miles said Boutte "made a mistake."
Matich thinks he should be suspended for a year.
LSU is set to kick off against Jacksonville State on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. E.T. on ESPNU.
