European Bookmaker Sets Odds For Texas' Head Coach In 2017

A European bookmaker sets the odds for who would be the head coach of the Texas Longhorns in 2017.

The Longhorns started out the season with a massive overtime win over then No. 10 Notre Dame, which prompted the announcers to proclaim that Texas football was back. Yet, just a few months later, Texas sits at 5-4 and will be forced to reflect on what might have been.

A bowl game is not outside the realm of possibility for the Longhorns, as they still have one of the worst programs in college football on the schedule, Kansas. Yet, for many fans and boosters, this season, and the previous two, under Charlie Strong left a lot to be desired.

Now, it seems that Charlie Strong may be on the out, although that has not been confirmed by the University. Strong found plenty of success at Louisville, but has not been able to turn around a struggling Texas program.

Could this be his last season in charge of what used to be one of the best programs in the country?

Well, one European bookmaker has the odds on who will be the Texas Longhorns head coach in 2017.
