Everyone Had Same Reaction To Dan Lanning's Locker Room Speech

During the first half of the Colorado-Oregon game, ESPN showed Dan Lanning's pregame speech to his team.

It's fair to say Lanning took a few shots at Colorado in an effort to fire up the troops.

"The Cinderella story is over, men. They’re fighting for clicks, we’re fighting for wins. There’s a difference," Lanning said to his players. "This game ain’t going to be played in Hollywood. It’s going to be played on the grass."

Danny O'Neil found this speech from Lanning to be quite hypocritical considering Oregon has one of the flashiest looks in the country.

"Now let’s go run out there in our 4,346th uniform combination and show them why we’re above doing things strictly for attention," O'Neil wrote on the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Others felt the same way about this speech.

"Quite a statement of principles…made in front of an ESPN camera," one person said.

Another person commented, "Coach says for clicks knowing cameras are on him…"

Lanning may not win over a ton of fans, but he's not worried about that. He made that abundantly clear during his halftime interview.

"Not done yet, we're not satisfied," Lanning told ESPN's Katie George. "Hope all those people that have been watching every week are watching this week."

Oregon leads 35-0 over Colorado at halftime. Star quarterback Bo Nix already has four total touchdowns.

We'll see if Colorado can make this a competitive game in the second half.
