Urban Meyer was very successful as Florida's head coach around the end of the 2000s. He won two national championships, two SEC championships and multiple bowl games with the Gators, a legacy that any coach would be proud to have.

During his coaching career, Meyer was known for his no-nonsense approach. He had a standard of what he wanted for the players on his team and he wasn't going to let anyone lower that standard.

In the new Netflix documetary Swamp Kings, former Florida linebacker Brandon Siler explained one of Meyer's many sayings fom the sideline.

"Urban said 'I'm gonna treat my superstars like superstars and my s--- like s---,'" Siler said. "'If I treat you like s--- and you want me to change, then you find a way to make yourself a superstar.'"

Those are strong words, but the Florida Gators roster from that era featured a lot of good players who became mainstays in the NFL after finding initial success under Meyer in college.

Meyer's approach didn't aways land - he had one of the worst head coaching tenures in the history of the NFL - but it seemed to get the best out of some very talented players during his time with the Gators.
