This Buckeye has wanted to sport the scarlet and gray his entire life, apparently.
Sam Hubbard could have left Ohio State for the NFL.
The 6-foot-5, 265-pound defensive end had spent three seasons with the Buckeyes and had the opportunity to start his professional career. He likely would've been picked during the first couple of rounds of the NFL Draft.
But he decided to come back for his redshirt junior season.
The decision isn't a surprising one when you check out the following photo posted by Hubbard's father. The Buckeyes' defensive lineman has wanted to play for OSU since he was a kid.
Hubbard should contend for All-American status this fall and be part of an Ohio State defensive line that could be the best in college football.
Ohio State's spring game is set for this Saturday. The Buckeyes open their season on Thursday, Aug. 31 against Indiana.
