Florida and Miami will kick off the 2019 college football season on Saturday night, as the Gators and Hurricanes will face off in a neutral-site game in Orlando.
The Gators enter the game as the favorite, as Dan Mullen's team heads into the year ranked No. 8 in the country. The Hurricanes are unranked.
Florida will reportedly get a special pump-up speech before kickoff on Saturday night.
Former Gators star Tim Tebow will reportedly speak to his college team before their game against the Hurricanes.
The Gators have been working hard all offseason to prepare for this in-state match up on the field and in the weight room. If emotions already weren't high enough for this in-state battle, the Gators will also get some added juice pregame with a speech from former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow. He was also at Florida's practice this past Monday as well.
Tebow gave one of the most-famous speeches in college football history following Florida's loss to Ole Miss in 2008. His "The Promise" speech prompted a national title run that year.
Florida and Miami are set to kick off at 7 p.m. E.T. on Saturday night.
The game will be on ESPN.
