Florida State Is Pushing For Trevor Lawrence, No. 1 QB Committed To Clemson

The Seminoles are reportedly pushing for the elite quarterback commit.

Trevor Lawrence, the No. 1 quarterback in the 2018 class, has been committed to Clemson since this past December.

The 6-foot-6, 196-pound pro-style quarterback, who's also the No. 1 overall recruit in the class, seems set on remaining committed to the Tigers, too.

Lawrence is constantly posting on social media about his love for the school.

Another elite program continues to "push" for him, though.

According to 247Sports' Barton Simmons, Florida State is pushing hard for Lawrence in the hopes that he'll flip. The Seminoles are also pushing for Justin Fields, the No. 2 quarterback in the class who's committed to Penn State.

From his report:

Even despite splitting his spring between the baseball diamond and the football field, Fields has been the talk of the 2018 class, post-Signing Day. That's a big reason why despite his early commitment to Penn State, schools such as Auburn, Florida, Florida State and others have been coming hard after Fields. Lawrence continues to feel a push from Florida State and others as well.

Recruiting is never not interesting.
