The Ohio State Buckeyes are enlisting the help of a former NFL head coach this season.

Ryan Day may be the team's head coach, but the Buckeyes are bringing in former Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin as an offensive analyst, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.

In addition to his time with the Dolphins, Philbin won a Super Bowl as the offensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers. Philbin has over three decades of experience as a coach, and he has spent the last three years as the offensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys.

The football world is reacting to the news of Ohio State bringing Philbin in.

"LOL Joe Philbin. Live look at the Ryan Day bandwagon," one fan said, adding a GIF of the Titanic. "Don’t worry Buckeye losers it’ll all be over soon when Harbaugh buries him one last time in Ann Arbor this fall."

"Well having a former NFL head coach as an analyst can't hurt," said one Buckeyes fan.

"As a Michigan fan who had to endure Philbin as a Dolphins fan...I approve this hire by Ohio State. Great decision," said another fan.

Things didn't go well for Philbin as a head coach in the NFL, but with a reduced role with more of a focus on offense, he should be able to find success given his previous track record.
