Blake Barnett is on the again. The former top recruit is pursuing a graduate transfer.

The former five-star QB has opted to transfer out of Arizona State. He previously transferred to ASU from Alabama.

Barnett originally committed to Notre Dame and Oregon before signing with Alabama to play under Nick Saban. He started during his redshirt freshman season, but lost the starting job to Jalen Hurts and eventually transferred.

Barnett left the Tide to play for Arizona State. He never won the starting job and will now look to join a different program.

The former elite recruit is reportedly visiting South Florida, according to Bruce Feldman.

Arizona State had a changing of the guard with Todd Graham's exit and the introduction of Herm Edwards as the team's new head coach.

The significant shift likely spelled the end for Barnett in Arizona.

Barnett threw just five passes during his time at Arizona State.
