Former 5-Star Speedy Noil Released By The Seattle Seahawks

The former top recruit has been released by his NFL team.

Speedy Noil's NFL career hasn't gotten off to the start he was hoping for.

The former Texas A&M standout wide receiver declared for the NFL Draft following his junior season in College Station, Texas. Noil went unselected in the 2017 NFL Draft and was picked up as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks earlier this month.

Seattle announced today that they've released the former Aggies' standout.

Noil was a five-star recruit coming out of high school, ranked the No. 1 WR in the country and the No. 8 player overall by 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He never quite lived up to the hype with Texas A&M, recording less than 400 receiving yards in each of his final two seasons in Kevin Sumlin's program.
