Former Arizona State, NFL Head Coach Frank Kush Dies At 88
Longtime college football and NFL head coach Frank Kush has passed away.
Kush passed away peacefully at a hospital in Arizona, according to ABC15.com. He was 88.
A defensive lineman at Michigan State in the early 1950s, Kush was the head coach at Arizona State from 1958-79. He compiled an overall record of 176-54-1, and is the winningest coach in school history.
Kush also coached the Baltimore Colts for two-and-a half seasons in the early 1980s, finishing with a record of 11-28-1.
Arizona State tweeted out a tribute to Kush this afternoon.
