The former Tigers' coach doesn't think it's close.

A former Auburn football coach is going to bat for Alabama in the College Football Playoff debate.

Former Tigers' head coach Gene Chizik says there is "no debate" between the Crimson Tide and Ohio State, who are battling for the No. 4 spot in this year's field.

Chizik, who coached Auburn from 2009-12, says it's obvious who the better team is when you watch film.

That's a pretty strong statement from the former head coach of Alabama's biggest rival.

The College Football Playoff rankings are set to come out at noon on ESPN.
