Kyle Davis has found a new home.

A few days after not making the trip to Baton Rouge for Auburn's game against LSU, head coach Gus Malzahn revealed that wide receiver Kyle Davis had been dismissed from the Tigers' program.

Davis was a 4-star wide receiver recruit from Georgia, who was the No. 10 wide receiver in the 2016 class.

He committed to Auburn over Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. Davis' father confirmed to AL.com that his son is admitted for spring classes at FAU.

From the report:

"We just want to thank the Auburn fans for their support," Ron Davis told AL.com. "Coach Malzahn and the Auburn staff and family have been so nice to us, but we've moved on and Kyle will be taking his talents to FAU."

Davis racked up 210 receiving yards in five games before his departure from the program, good enough for third on the team through those games. As a true freshman, Davis went for 248 yards on 12 receptions, two of which went for touchdowns.

He joins an FAU program that saw an offensive resurgence under Lane Kiffin.
