Former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant is in the midst of his free agent tour. Sure, the NCAA doesn't want to think of its new redshirt rule as free agency, but with several top players taking advantage of the new rule, that's exactly what the NCAA created.
Bryant is using the new rule to transfer from the Tigers program after getting benched by Dabo Swinney in favor of freshman phenom Trevor Lawrence. It didn't take long for Bryant to announce his intentions to transfer.
In the weeks since his announcement, Bryant visited North Carolina, Arkansas and Missouri.
On Saturday afternoon, he'll be in attendance at an Arkansas game. However, this time he'll be on the other side of the field.
Bryant is taking an official visit to Starkville to see Mississippi State first hand.
The Bulldogs could use a top transfer quarterback after Nick Fitzgerald leaves this year.
Bryant set a decision date for December 4. Stay tuned.
