A former college football head coach has passed away. He was 57.

Paul Gorham, who led Sacred Heart's program from 2004-11, passed away over the weekend following a long, courageous battle with lung disease.

The former head coach played collegiately for New Hampshire. He began his coaching career in 1986 at his alma mater. Gorham went on to coach at New Haven, Brown and UMass before becoming the head coach at Sacred Heart.

Our thoughts are with Paul's family and friends. May he rest in peace.
