With the help of his lawyer, Gareon Conley released a statement regarding sexual assault allegations against him. According to multiple reports from Tuesday, a 23-year-old woman accused Conley of raping her in a Cleveland hotel.

Gareon Conley writes letter concerning recent allegations.

In the statement, Conley denies the allegations, and suggests there is video evidence that will clear his name. The allegations could not come at a worse time for Conley, who was projected to go very early in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. As a result of the allegations, Conley announced that he will not be attending the draft, giving the limelight to other players and their families.

Conley was a projected top-15 pick, and it's unclear if the allegations against him will hurt Conley's draft stock.
