The Buckeyes have a new coach.

Ohio State announced today the hire of longtime NFL assistant Bill Davis, who spent this past season as an "analyst" for the Buckeyes.

Davis is close with Urban Meyer - he was the best man in his wedding - and brings decades of experience to OSU's defensive staff.

Ohio State appears to have added a valuable member to its coaching staff.
