The former Buckeyes quarterback shut down criticism from a fan.

Don't come at Stephen Collier on Twitter. A critical fan learned this the hard way.

The former Ohio State quarterback was called out by a fan for his playing time in Columbus. Collier never played for the Buckeyes.

The former three-star recruit had a series of injuries. He eventually retired from the game in early 2017.

When the fan spoke out to Collier about his playing time, he responded perfectly.

"I played behind all-time Buckeye great Braxton Miller, the best QB the B1G has ever seen in JT Barrett, and National Championship winning Cardale Jones.

I too, am a national champion, and at 21 years old, will have my Master’s degree debt free in May.

It was great," he wrote.

Well played, Stephen. Well played.
