Earlier Tuesday it was reported two former highly-ranked quarterback recruits were considering a transfer.

Two LSU quarterbacks, Justin McMillan and Lowell Narcisse, were absent from practice today and reports suggested their futures at LSU were uncertain.

Just a few hours after that report, one of the quarterbacks announced he's transferring. Lowell Narcisse took to Twitter on Tuesday night to announce he's leaving the program.

"After sitting down and talking with my family I've decided the best thing for my future is transfer and get a fresh start and be able to have an opportunity to showcase my abilities. I will forever represent the Boot," Narcisse announced on Twitter.

Here's his full announcement.

Lowell Narcisse, a class of 2017 recruit, was the No. 9 QB prospect in the country coming out of high school.

The addition of former Ohio State quarterback Joe Burrow clearly shook some things up in the LSU quarterback room. Burrow is expected to win the starting job and has two years of eligibility remaining.
