Georgia has dominated seemingly every aspect of the college football world for the last two seasons.

The Bulldogs won back-to-back national titles, have sent several players to the NFL and have also been among the top recruiting classes in recent memory.

One player who was set to arrive at the program this season is back in the transfer portal after being dismissed from Georgia.

According to Matt Zenitz of On3, former Texas A&M defensive back Smoke Bouie is back in the transfer portal. Bouie entered the portal after deciding to leave the Aggies, and he joined Georgia in the winter.

Bouie was dismissed from the Bulldogs' program last month, and he's now looking for a new place to play again. Bouie, a Georgia native, was widely considered as one of the top 100 players in the class of 2022.

"He’s kind of mutually agreed to part ways, and we wish him nothing but the best," Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said about Bouie leaving the program.

"It’s very disappointing that his stay was short, but it was a decision that was made on both parties, and like I said, we wish him nothing but the best."

Bouie played in seven games as a freshman for Texas A&M last season, recording four tackles and a pass breakup.

As Bouie is now a multi-time transfer and the traditional transfer windows are closed, he would need a waiver from the NCAA to be immediately eligible to play this season.
