Former Wisconsin QB Commit Addresses His "Nightmare" Situation
The quarterback recruit appeared to have his scholarship offer pulled from the Badgers.
Ben Bryant, a quarterback recruit in the 2018 class, tweeted on Thursday that he had received a scholarship offer from the University of Georgia. The pro-style quarterback out of Illinois was committed to Wisconsin.
A day after tweeting about his offer from the Bulldogs, Bryant tweeted that the Badgers had pulled his scholarship offer.
Late Saturday night, Bryant explained what happened.
"My dream of becoming a Badger turned into a nightmare on Friday," he wrote. "This was literally one of the worst days of my life."

Tweeting about a new scholarship offer is extremely common for recruits, even ones that are committed somewhere else.
Bryant, a three-star recruit per 247Sports' Composite Rankings, says he had no intention of considering flipping to the Bulldogs or even visiting Georgia and wanted to stay a Badger.
Wisconsin's coaching staff seems to have some explaining to do.
