FSU vs. NC State preview:
Florida State is coming off of a hard fought game against No. 3 Clemson. The Seminoles lost that game by a score of 37-34 despite some controversy over the Seminoles last possession of the game. Running back Dalvin Cook has been the star of the Florida State team and showed up in a big way against Clemson with 169 yards and four touchdowns.
Three weeks ago NC State almost pulled off a massive upset of No. 3 Clemson. The Wolfpack missed a short field goal that would have won the game, and ended up losing in overtime. The two weeks following that loss have not been kind to the Wolfpack, who got crushed by No. 7 Louisville and lost last week to a struggling Boston College team. The road doesn't get any easier as they now have to face a good Florida State team.
The Seminoles and Wolfpack have played 35 times in history, with the Seminoles holding a 24-11 advantage.
FSU vs. NC State prediction:
Florida State is head and shoulders above NC State, especially with the way the Wolfpack have been playing as of late. Running back Dalvin Cook should find plenty of success to continue the hype surrounding him for the Heisman Trophy.
