The 2019 college football season is here and you know what that means.

ESPN's College GameDay is back as well. On Saturday morning, the crew broke down the weekend's slate of games and took a look at potential upsets.

During the course of the show, the GameDay crew brought up the transfer portal that ruled the summer. Star quarterbacks left their respective programs for what they thought would be greener pastures.

After talking about the portal for a few minutes, cameras panned to a fan in the stands with the sign of the day.

His sign read: "My girlfriend entered the transfer portal."

Poor guy.

He's felling a lot like the college football programs that lost depth at the quarterback spot when their players left for a new team.

Ohio State, Washington and UCF are just a few programs starting former transfer quarterbacks. Oh, and there's Oklahoma, which will have former Alabama star Jalen Hurts under center for the 2019 season.
