On Saturday afternoon when the Georgia Bulldogs take the field, the could do so with a wide receiver back in the fold. Former Cal transfer Demetris Robertson has missed the past three games with an undisclosed injury, but appeared close to returning to practice.
Earlier this week, head coach Kirby Smart said he expected Robertson to be back at practice on Tuesday. However, the wide receiver did not take the field for the first two days of practice.
On Wednesday afternoon, Robertson was back on the field for the Bulldogs. Whatever the injury was, it’s tough to tell, according to Georgia beat writer Seth Emerson.
Demetris Robertson returned to Georgia practice today. Hard to tell what his injury was, no brace or wrap apparent on upper or lower body. He hasn't played the past three games.

Robertson was a five-star transfer from Cal, but hasn’t had an impact for the Bulldogs yet this season. After transferring from Cal where he racked up 57 catches for 837 yards and seven touchdowns, he’s yet to post a catch for Georgia.
That could all change on Saturday when Georgia hosts UMass.
