Greg McElroy Is No Fan Of The 'Empty Neyland' Movement

The ESPN college football analyst is no fan of the movement.

A group of Tennessee fans have come up with an "Empty Neyland" movement to help push Butch Jones out in Knoxville, Tenn.

Greg McElroy is no fan of this.

The former Alabama quarterback and current ESPN analyst blasted Volunteers' fans during Thinking Out Loud on the SEC Network.

"They go out there on the field wearing orange, wearing white, trying to bring you pride every single week and to abandon them in a moment of need is flat out embarrassing," McElroy said. "Anyone associated with the the hashtag 'Empty Neyland' trend, you failed by the way. 95,000 plus showed up. So congrats and a standing ovation to those who were there to support their team. But those associated with the 'Empty Neyland', come at me because you're a disgrace to your fan base and a disgrace to your team.""
