The head coach of the five-star prospect says the visit went well.

Jackson Carman, a five-star offensive tackle out of Fairfeld, Ohio, is one of the biggest (both literally and physically) targets on Ohio State's 2018 recruiting board.

Urban Meyer paid Carman a visit today.

Jason Krause, Fairfield's head coach, detailed how the visit went on Twitter.

It sounds promising for the Buckeyes.

Carman, the No. 9 overall recruit in the 2018 class, is the recruit who got into it with Kirk Herbstreit on Twitter earlier this year. Herbstreit was very critical of the five-star recruit after he voiced his opinion on the Buckeyes' QB position following the loss to Oklahoma.

Ohio State, though, remains heavily interested in Carman. USC is probably the program that will give the Buckeyes the stiffest competition, along with Clemson.
