Here's Reportedly Why Michigan Did Not Release A Spring Game Roster

The Wolverines did not produce a roster for their spring game this afternoon.

Head football coach Jim Harbaugh notably doesn't release a depth chart before his team's games during the regular season.

He's so infamous for doing so, that last year before Michigan took on Colorado, the Buffaloes' staff created their own roster full of notable personalities, including Elmer Fudd and Bernie Sanders.

Well, Harbaugh was back at it today before Michigan's spring game. Now, we're talking about a different scenario entirely, as most coaches release a roster before their spring game t0 give the media members and fans an idea of who they are watching.

The Michigan coach reportedly has a reason this time for not releasing the names.

During Michigan's spring game today, some players are still trying to make the Wolverines' squad.

The Wolverines kicked off their spring game this afternoon, and can be seen on the Big Ten Network on a replay at 3:00 p.m. E.T.

Michigan needs to get ready for the 2017 season in a hurry. The Wolverines open their 2017 season with a huge non-conference game against the Florida Gators on September 2.

After a disappointing end to the 2016 season, Harbaugh and company will want to show they can have success at every level.
