The Alabama football coach is worth a ton of money in the ESPN analyst's mind.
Nick Saban has a new contract at Alabama.
ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum thinks the Crimson Tide's coach is worth a lot more than he's being paid.
The new contract, which runs through the 2024 season, is set to pay him $65 million and includes a $4 million signing bonus.
Finebaum appeared on ESPN earlier today and revealed how much he thinks Saban is worth.
The answer: $100 million.
"Nick Saban's worth 50 or $100 million to this program considering what he's done, so I think this is a major bargain," Finebaum said. "It also sends a message across college football that Nick Saban is not going anywhere. In my mind, he’ll finish his career at the University of Alabama."
There have been Saban-to-the-NFL rumors nearly every offseason. This contract might not squash those, but it does probably make it a lot less likely that the head coach leaves Tuscaloosa, Ala.
