Hugh Freeze might be out of the job after new information was released.
Ole Miss could have a new head coach sooner than we thought.
Hugh Freeze is entering his sixth season as the head coach of the Mississippi Rebels.
However, according to Pat Forde of Yahoo, Ole Miss might need a new head coach before the 2017 college football season kicks off. Forde tweeted that Freeze's job is in "immediate jeopardy" thanks to "explosive new information."
Ole Miss was hit with the dreaded "lack of institutional control" earlier this year, stemming from recruiting violations.
Now it looks like Hugh Freeze will be gone before the season begins. If it is the end, he'll finish with a 39-25 record and three bowl wins in five seasons.
The decision seems to be looming, so we'll have to wait and see if the Rebels need to look for a new coach.
